The first week of March is Dr. Seuss’s birthday. I love using Dr. Seuss in my lessons. The rhymes and pictures keep the kids attention and they love the books. There are so many books to use. I have started collecting packets on Dr. Seuss that I would like to share with you.
- oopseydaisyblog.com has developed a unit on S for Seuss. She has worksheets that can be used with different books.
- A to Z Teacher Stuff has some great ideas to use with the book 10 Apples on Top This is one of my favorite Dr. Seuss books and there are so may lessons you can do with them.
- Homeschoolshare has assembled some great lesson plans for several of Dr. Seuss books. My favorite lesson plan from here is about the Foot Book in this lesson they talk about left and right along with musical parts.
- Apples for the teacher has complied some lessons plans for another of my favorite Green Eggs and Ham.
I hope these help you in making a great week of Dr. Seuss and his beloved characters.
