The Everything kid’s sharks book The authors offer a collection of zany facts and pictures about sharks that aim to teach as they entertain. Children can learn how sharks have evolved over thousands of years, how they pursue their prey and how they can eat almost anything.
Surprising Sharks explains that all sharks are not scary and mean. They show the kids the different types of sharks and are not all htat scarey. Kids will love the pictures and the facts in the way they are told in this book.
Shark in the Dark
The shark has been lurking in the deep, dark sea, searching for a fishy snack. He’s big and he’s mean and he’s always hungry. Tired of fleeing the shark, the other seas creatures come up with a plan. If they all work together it might be possible to teach the shark a lesson he’ll never forget. With a lively rhyming text; bright, expressive illustrations; and a playful die-cut cover, this is one shark’s tale that will be a hit either at story hour . . . or feeing time.
Sharks our amazing world series tells all about the sharks. It has some amazing pictures that show the sharks in the ocean.
Cedric the Shark Becomes A Big Brother is a one of a very cute series. In this book Cedric is told he is going to be a big brother. Is this good news or bad news? Lets read the book and find out. This book is good for the shark week but also if you have a child that is going to have a new sibling.
He’s quick. He’s silent. He has five rows of deadly teeth. Chomp! Meet the shark—the fish who ruled the deep before dinosaurs roamed the Earth! This fish has soft cartilage so he can glide, twist, and turn before his prey can say “gulp!” He can smell a single drop of blood in 25 million drops of ocean. He can feel electricity given off by his prey. He will lose and replace more than 10,000 teeth in his lifetime. Cool photos bring kids into the shark’s world. Fun facts go deep into the shark’s scary science.
Shark Mad Stanley
Stanley, who loves sharks and knows all about them, fantasizes about having one for a pet and considers all the things he would need to feed and take care of it. This would be a great book to lead into what they would do if they met a shark. I love the answers that you receive. One child said they would let it sleep with them and teach them to play soccer.
Sharks of the World is a cloring book that has some great pictures of the sharks that you can place in the art center to have them either color or water color.
I am a Shark This book is a cute book about a shark that is afraid of something. The kids get to guess what the shark could be afraid of.. Also leads to a discussion of things they are afriad of.
I hope you find one book or several that you would like to read to your child or students. I love reading books to my class I hope you enjoy these books as well.
